A software company with a factory floor in the family.

Apex Platforms designs, builds and operates web and mobile platforms from Sri Lanka.

We are a product company before we are a services company. Three of the platforms we run — a national classifieds marketplace, a farm-management system and a matrimony service — were built here from the first sketch, and we still ship changes to all three. That means when we build something for a client, we are making the same decisions we have already had to live with ourselves.

The Primas Group has spent decades making physical things — rubber, cinnamon, brushware — and trading them across the world. Working alongside those businesses taught us what most software teams learn far too late: that a system is only as good as the worst day it has to survive, and that the person entering the data is usually standing up, in a hurry, and holding something else.
