Sithangi is a matrimony platform built for how Sri Lankan families actually approach a proposal: the profile matters, and so does the horoscope.
Alongside the usual profile, photo and preference search, Sithangi handles the astrological side — birth details, horoscope information and porondam (compatibility) matching — instead of leaving families to take that conversation somewhere else.
02What it does
Profiles
Structured profiles covering the details families ask about first — background, education, profession, religion and family — with photos and privacy under the member's control.
Horoscope and birth details
Birth date, time and place captured properly, so the astrological side of a proposal is part of the profile rather than an attachment sent separately.
Porondam matching
Compatibility matching between two horoscopes, presented in the terms families already use when weighing a proposal.
Search and preferences
Filter by the criteria that matter to a given family, and save preferences so relevant proposals surface instead of having to be hunted for.
Private contact
Interest and messaging flows that let two families make contact at their own pace, without personal details being public from the first click.
Sinhala and English
Built for a local audience in the language they are most comfortable reading a proposal in.
